Description
Designed for ALL 1971-80 Scout II, Terra or Traveler with stock or 2"-4" lift leaf springs.
Fangs are for a 2" wide leaf spring and no taller than a standard lift shackle once installed. Angled design of front leaf spring hanger allows front axle to be moved slightly forward to keep the tire from hitting the rear of the front fender well yet allows stock bumper to stay untouched in the stock location if desired.
This is a shackle thru frame design. A holesaw and pilot drill bit are included in the kit in order to drill holes in the frame for the shackle bushing sleeve.
This reverse shackle kit will greatly improves ride quality on road yet will absorb those hard bumps off road. For better ride quality on the street or for your rock crawler this kit will work for almost any application.
Includes all Grade 8 hardware. This kit comes with either 5" or 6" long custom made shackles. We recommend 5" shackles for on-road use and 6" shackles for offroad use.
Will work on stock spring under axle or spring over axle suspension.
Welding Required.
New long travel front driveshaft highly recommended and available from CPT.
